Better Late Than Never?

I am officially the worlds worst blogger ever. I finished uploading the rest of August. So sad that it took me until the end of January to get these done. I have just been spending my days with the kiddos. I just adore them. Tru is such a cuddle bug. He is truly a "mama's boy."
When my folks were in town we hit up the Olympic Training Center while in Colorado Springs. It was so cool. I loved seeing all the buildings where the athletes train. It was really inspiring.
My parents are so amazing with my kids. They are just "naturals."
Tru is six months old now, and looking at these pictures makes me so sad. I miss the baby stage already.

Terrible picture. We wanted a picture of the Olympic torch. (It's behind me, but the person who snapped the shot for us cropped it wrong.) This was the torch for the Salt Lake Olympics.
Ever since I took a sculpting class in college, I have loved bronze statues. I can't even imagine how much work this took.

Shockingly, my Dad is the best babysitter for newborns. He is so patient and the newborn cry doesn't bother him one bit.
We also went to Tiny Town. It was so cute. The kids LOVED the train that we all rode on.

Tru's Blessing
Ben gave the most amazing blessing. It was so beautiful. I felt so lucky to be married to someone worthy of the spirit.

My folks the morning of Tru's blessing. I am so glad that my Mom and Dad will fly out and be present and supportive for such important events. They were such a big help during such a crazy weekend.
Ben's whole family came into town for Tru's blessing as well. It is AWESOME that they are so supportive. What an awesome example they set for me. I have never felt such support from siblings before.
This is Ben's folks with all their grand kids.
All the boys in Ben's family. (I didn't get an all girls shot.)
We also went to the park one day while everyone was in town.
 Grandma Michaelson and Tru.
Tru in his blessing outfit. I love this outfit. Ben's grandma gave this outfit to Kai and I am so glad that Tru could be blessed in it as well.

My Aunt Carol made Tru his blessing blanket. If my Grandma Allred was still around she would have made me a blanket for the blessing just like this one. I am so glad that Aunt Carol made this blanket. I felt so loved!

This is how we spent the majority of our afternoons while Tru was sleeping his days away. Can't wait to hit up the big pool this summer!
I love these pictures so much. I hope I can always remember this moment with Tru. From the way he smelled after a bath, to the clenched fists, and the spit bubbles in his lips. He was perfect!

We were out grilling on the porch for dinner one night and little did we know that Cicilee decided that all she wanted for dinner was the ENTIRE bag of Cheetos. Love this girl so much.
This is what bath time still looks like to this day. It's a Par-taaay.
I caught Tru's first smiles on camera. He is a totally content baby, and always grinning. So glad I had my camera handy.

Now, on to September 2011. Ugh. Seems like such a daunting task.
