October 2011.
October was so much fun. Best yet! The kids were totally into it and so was I. Holidays have taken on a whole new life now. It's like a breath of fresh air.
Since Kai is in preschool now, he now has field trips. His first field trip was to a historic farm in Littleton. They had a pumpkin patch and live animals for the kids to see. Kai was totally in his element and just ran around the entire time with his friends. Cic is still my little shadow and won't leave my side very often. I just love this girl!
I feel horrible that I didn't get more pictures of Kai, but he wouldn't hold still long enough for me to snap any.
The kids at the field trip.
Kai had a blast running on the top of these bails of hay and jumping across them.
Tru was 3 months old and slept through the entire thing.
Kai gets so so so red faced whenever he runs around. It is so crazy, but he gets this from his daddy b/c Ben is the same way.
We went to a pumpkin patch at a local church again this year to pick out our pumpkins.
It's not a huge patch, but the kids would have stayed there for HOURS if we would have let them.
Cic of course had to bring Woody with her for the adventure.
My two boys.
my loves
Not the best picture...but definitely the cutest little face.
For Halloween this year Kai and Cic were superheros. They wanted to dress alike again this year so they opted for Superman and Super girl. The capes were a big hit. I have never seen the kids happier and more proud than when they were dressed up.
Tru was a monkey. This is the same costume that Kai and Cic both wore for their first Halloween. I will never get rid of this costume.
Love these next two pictures.
Cutest monkey EVER.
This was the first year that Kai was totally into pumpkin carving. I let the kids put gloves on to help us get the seeds out.
Finished product. I carved the bat on the left and Ben carved the two faces.
Kai was so proud.
Trick or Treating 2012.
We were invited to a friends house for dinner and trick or treating. The kids LOVED having friends to trick or treat with. It was so fun to see Kai and Cic excited to run from house to house...to house to house. The weather was perfect and we got waaaay too much candy.
I am so excited for next year because I am sure it will be even better.
Kai and his trick or treating buddy. HARDCORE trick or treaters right here.
Still four months behind, but I am going to get caught up. Coming soon....November 2011.
