I still have over 200 pictures to go through and upload, but I am glad that I was able to get these done. I take a ton of pictures of Tru, but honestly I can't help myself. Since I can't freeze time, this is the second best thing. I just want to capture every moment with him.
His eyes are still really grey in these pictures, but they are starting to look blue as of late.
Kai and Cic enjoyed many days at the water fountains this summer.
Cic is such a good big sister and will hold Tru for me. She is so nurturing.

So, I'm really jumping ahead of myself on this post but I just had to post these cute pictures that I took of Kai this week. Kai started preschool on Tuesday and he absolutely loves it. I can't believe I have a preschooler now. He is so grown up. I'm not going to post pictures of his actual first day yet (sporting his backpack) but I am going to post these. I saw this idea on a website HERE (YES, I totally stole the idea) but I think it's simple enough for me to do every year and will be fun for the kids to look back on and see what they were into each school year.
I couldn't decide which picture I liked best, so I used four of them. THAT'S how indecisive I am. :)

Today was Kai's second day of class. I hurried and got him ready this morning and was running around getting everyone else ready. It was time to go and Kai was no where to be found. I started to panic a bit and was searching everywhere for him. I had searched the house and had expanded my search outdoors. He was gone. I opened up the garage door to start loading Cic and Tru into the car and Voila!!! Kai was sitting in his car seat, strapped in, with his backpack in his lap, patiently waiting for us to join him. I'll take that as a sign that he likes preschool.

Trying to Catch Up

AHHH! I hate being behind on things. I am so behind on my blog and it is driving me crazy. Time just seems to be passing me by lately (in certain areas, and this is one of them). I guess I am just enjoying snuggling with my little man and letting other things get away from me. I can't even describe how much I love Tru. He is our easiest baby. He is so easy going and content with whatever is going on. He even started sleeping through the night last week (8 weeks) so we are GOLDEN now!
Since we've been spending more time around the house with a newborn I've had more time to snap pictures of our little guy. I have so many more pictures to upload but here are a few for now.

We've been trying to spend more time outdoors with the kiddos lately b/c Fall is quickly approaching. Kai has been begging Ben to teach him to ride his bike on two wheels. So, we took the training wheels off and he now wants them back on. As hard as it is, we're trying to teach him that he can do it and he'll eventually get it.
I bought Cic a pink princess bike at a garage sale this summer for $5 and she is trying to learn how to use it. We live on a hill so learning to ride out in the street is kinda scary for the kids. Luckily we back up to the high school track so we take them out there and they can learn to ride on a flat surface.

Love this shot. Cic wants to be involved in everything that Ben does. She is such a Daddy's Girl. Ben is in real trouble with her b/c he just melts whenever she wants him. It is amazing to watch the interaction between them. It reminds me of the relationship I used to have with my Dad when I was younger.

Ben is so good with Kai. Kai wanted to give up so bad. Ben wouldn't let him though. They are going to keep working on this until Kai gets it.

Taking a break. Riding a bike is hard work. Cici's turn to learn.

Tru was cozy as can be in the sling. He was about two weeks old here.

l.o.v.e.

I know...I play with my camera too much and take waaaay too many pictures.

This is the shot I eventually picked for the announcement shot. Announcement cropping

My favorite shot of. all. time. I would really like to get a shot like this of my kiddos (when Tru is looking at the camera.) I'll probably try again when he's a bit older and can focus on me behind the camera.

I already miss this stage. He's just growing up so fast.
